Grillo vs. Grillo – Rome/Milan

Pepper’s Ghost came back to the theatre with the show Grillo vs. Grillo on stage from the 2nd to the 5th of February 2016 at Teatro LinearCIAK – Milan, and from the 16th to the 20th of Febru-ary 2016 at Teatro Brancaccio – Rome.

The hologram, created by Studio Tangram, supported Beppe Grillo during his theatrical performance. The Genoese comedian came back on stage surrounded, as usual, by extraordinary visual effects.

Grillo, proving once again his attention to modern and advanced technologies, decided to perform with the help of an incredibly engaging communication tool. Our holograms, staggeringly realistic, dynamic and 3D, have always had a strong emotional impact, as shown by the “wow effect”.

About

To create the hologram we used a 13m x 6.5m Holographic Theatre. Thanks to the considerable size of the Holographic Theatre, the hologram was visible to everyone in the 2,000-seat venue.

Reactions

The show was sold-out and loudly applauded both in Milan and in Rome.

The audience, who could hardly find out the illusion, was thrilled and enchanted by the hologram. Several Italian radio programs and newspapers talked about the show and the collaboration between the comedian and Studio Tangram, reaffirming the hologram as the most powerful mean of communication, nowadays and in the future.
