Giacomini Design – Milano Design Week – Hodara, Milan

Again this year, the world of design chose Studio Tangram for our innovative and surprising holographic technology, to make its events a thrilling and unique experience for those attending the Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano. The new luxury must haves were showcased to the public through the incredible communicative power of holograms.

Giacomini Design asked Studio Tangram to carry the visitors of Spazio Hodara Art Designer into a dreamlike world. In the beautiful showroom of Via Morone 8, everything appeared as in a dream: water sculptures, art furniture and jewel bags*. Other Small Holographic Theatre systems, created by Studio Tangram, also captivated the spectators in Studiopiù Caffè, in Milan’s Tortona district.

To create the holograms we used Small Holographic Theatre Lite: a customised 3D display system – a similar technology to Holographic Theatre – that replaces the stage with a miniature platform, and the projector with a source of high brightness HDTV images.

Reactions

Art lovers and passersby were impressed by the magical effect created with the combination of holograms and design. Pictures and videos of the luxury must-haves were spread all around the Milanese Fuorisalone. People regularly came back to Spazio Hodara Art Designer, always hoping to discover new holograms. Another event that proves the magic impact created by Studio Tangram – a technology that captures the imagination, inspires dreams and shows that anything is possible.
