3D holograms are ideal for the world of entertainment, but can be applied to any field – from business (i.e. corporate presentations and events) to politics. It may seem strange, but holographic creations can be a winning choice for political conferences and events. Studio Tangram assisted with two important projects related to politics: the Grillo vs. Grillo holographic show and the electoral campaign of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
What do 3D holograms have to do with the world of politics? Holographic creations can actually help public figures in many ways, for instance through the use of Telepresence (IceNet). This technology allows you to make a real time speech in more locations at once, even several kilometres away from each other. Through a Holographic Theatre (IceMagic), the human figure is scanned, processed and broadcasted in various locations simultaneously. In this way, you can both significantly reduce travel expenses and protect the safety of public figures by letting them avoid crowded places. The appeal of holographic creations should not be underestimated – being a fairly new technology, still unknown to many, holograms entertain and intrigue the audience.
Studio Tangram, based in Mariano Comense (CO), is one of the leading companies for holographic production both in Italy and abroad. We have taken part in various projects, some of them related to politics. For instance, the Studio assisted with the holographic show Grillo vs. Grillo, where the famous comedian – now leader of an important political party – interacted with his 3D holographic twin. The show was widely acclaimed and mentioned in relevant newspapers and magazines as an example of technological innovation. Another fascinating project was delivered for the electoral campaign of Narendra Modi. Thanks to our Holographic Theatre (IceMagic) and 3D images, the Indian Prime Minister’s speeches were broadcasted all over the country. These are just some examples of the countless occasions where 3D holograms have entertained and amazed the public – this technology is bound to become more and more popular and we cannot wait to see the results.
